Lesia Ukrainka Epistolary Communication Through the Prism of Narrations

Abstract

The article is devoted to the epistolary communication. The most clearly features of epistolary communication of the late XIX – early XX centuries have been distinguished. The differential features of Lesia Ukrainka communicative activity have defined by means of numerous narrations in her letters. The author focuses on objective and subjective preconditions epistolary texts creation (conditions, time, place, motivation) and epistolary dialogues course with different recipients (rhythm / arrhythmy. breaks, causes silence, self-esteem epistolary linguistic creativity). The amount of basic thermo-lexical units reflecting the process of correspondence which include primarily explication with different frequency, correspondence have been found out; the synonymic row of heterogeneous stylistically lexical units, updated in Lesia Ukrainka individual style for nomination of various types of correspondence (hrafiyka, diariush, zakrytka, epistolia, kartka, kartochka, knyga, korespondentsia, lyst, lystysche, lystok, lystochok, manuscript, odkrytka, odpyska, poslanie poslannia, slivtse,slovo)has been detrmined.
